Soul Creativity Retreat Coaches
Ginny Sassaman
For over 30 years, I've led a varied career in communication and the arts, starting as a camera operator/ad writer/on-air personality for a public television station across the street from the Hershey's Chocolate Factory. There followed many years as a writer and editor in Washingon, D.C. working for Common Cause and the Women's Legal Defense Fund where I helped our very talented writes tailor their work for popular consumption. While in D. C., my studio art classes led me to create "Sass Wearable Watercolors," followed by watercolor clocks and magnetic shadow boxes. My job in painting propelled me off a cliff: I left my fast-paced career behind for 13 years on the arts-and-crafts show circuit - a move I never regretted. Then another jump off another cliff -- in my early 50's, back to graduate school and a masters in mediation, and even more importantly, a whole new set of tools in reflective listening and coaching to help others find the way to their own best lives. I paint, write, sing, walk, do yoga and try to be happy in life.
